Commentary | Well-known scene and several times represented; Sancho introduces "Dulcinea" to don Quixote, who kneels down before her.
Now, it is original because of Cruikshank's "careless" style; see female faces, don Quixote's exaggerated gesture... Print of great interest. Different use of wood engraving according to foreground figures or background. |
