Commentary Sancho introduces don Quixote (awaiting in the background mounted on Rocinante) to the Duchess.
Accurate to Cervantes' text, the Duchess appears riding a white horse and holding a goshawk; a maiden on horseback accompanies her.
Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable as a whole; The Duchess' figure is quite remarkable.
Notes 1 - Copy after Coypel's illustration (Paris: Surugue, 1723).
