| Commentary | Copy from Bouttats' composition (Amberes: Verdussen, 1672 - 1673). Sancho, with a broom bunch, says goodbye to don Quixote, while the knight remains doing penance (doing a somersault). In this illustration, the engraving is better than in the previous one, and has more details (Rocinante, armour, clothes, tree, mountains...). |
