Commentary | In the foreground, Cardenio fighting against don Quixote, fallen defeated, and Sancho, protecting his head; the goatherd arrives to help them.
Simple composition. Drawing and engraving are bad and poor in details (Rocinante, donkey, tree, mountains..); Cardenio's scorzo is crude. |
