Commentary | The niece and the housekeeper prevent Sancho from going into don Quixote's house; their expressions and gestures are exaggerated; the scene looks like a comical performance.
In the background, the barber and the priest (their figures are only sketched). Good use of aquatint for shading and nice hand-coloring. |
