| Commentary | Original choice; accurate to Cervantes' text, Altisidora visits don Quixote at night "coronada con la misma guirnalda que en el túmulo tenía, y vestida con tunicela de tafetán blanco, sembrada de flores de oro, y sueltos los cabellos por las espaldas, arrimada a un báculo de negro y finísimo ébano" (70:2); don Quixote observes her frightened and covered with the sheets and blanket; in the background, Sancho.
