Commentary Original choice and very accurate representation; doña Rodríguez and her daughter kneel down before don Quixote asking for his help; their figures, totally covered by black cloaks (we only see doña Rodríguez's appealing hands), are very remarkable (perfectly shaded); also the Duke, the Duchess and two servants.
Good use of engraving (see fine burin lines in don Quixote and Duchess' figures).
Notes It has been placed f.p. 149 (in vol. IV, chapter XVI of this edition or 48:2), because the print includes this reference, but it is wrong; the reference should be "Page 194" (in vol. IV, chapter XX of this edition or 52:2).
