| Commentary | This episode was first represented by Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657), but in a very different way.
The image now is less humorous; it only includes the encounter among don Quixote and Sancho and the players of Angulo el Malo's company; all disguised to perform the Cortes de la Muerte (Devil, Cupid, Death, Angel, Emperor, Queen, Soldier and one bojiganga). Drawing and engraving are acceptable. |
