Commentary | Two different scenes are included in the same illustration:
In the foreground, don Quixote attacks a flock of sheep, while several shepherds stone him. In the background, the consequences of the adventure: don Quixote, defeated, is helped by Sancho, while the shepherds gather the sheep and pick up the dead ones. Drawing and engraving are acceptable, but poor. |
