Commentary | Don Quixote dictates his last will to a notary (foreground); two candles light them.
In the background, the housekeeper, the niece, Sansón Carrasco, the barber, the priest and Sancho Panza; Sancho in a very secondary position. Scene without too much drama; just the housekeeper and the niece crying. Good composition, lightly theatrical. Drawing and engraving are good too. |
