Commentary | Well-known scene since Savery (Dordrecht: Savery, 1657); it lacks novelty.
At dawn, four travelers (servants of don Luis' father) arrive at the inn and find don Quixote hanged by his hand from an inn window. Rocinante begins to smell one of their mares and makes don Quixote lose his balance. Drawing and engraving are quite good despite some light faults. |
