Commentary | Don Quixote encounters and stops a funeral cortege. Montañés has chosen the represented moment with certain originality; traditionally, it has been more repesented the instant when don Quixote defeats Alonso López.
Don Quixote and Rocinante have been drawn and engraved with great quality, but the figures of the priests are just acceptable. Notice Sancho's frightened expression. |
