Commentary Don Quixote reprimands Sancho Panza because the squire does not believe that Micomicona (Dorotea) is a real princess; Sancho asks his master pardon and, following the priest's advice, kneels before don Quixote.
Also Dorotea, don Fernando and others.
Don Quixote's figure (with feathers on his basin) reminds Coypel's don Quixote.
Despite the small format of the illustration, drawing and engraving are good; well-resolved faces (see priest, don Quixote and Sancho Panza).
Notes 1 - Same plate first engraved for Paris: Didot L'Aîné-Deterville, 1799, now without frames. Also without frames in Paris: H. Nicolle, 1808.
2 - Wrongly placed in chapter 50:1.
