Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote attacks the windmill, whose arms break his lance. From the background, Sancho comes closer.
Scene without originality; drawing and engraving are clumsy; some figures are disproportionated (Sanchos' donkey) and lacking in movement (see don Quixote and Rocinante). Northern windmills. |
