Commentary | Malambruno transforms Antonomasia and don Clavijo into an ape of brass and a crocodile of an unknown metal and then he seizes Trifaldi by her hair as though he meant to cut her throat with his scimitar.
Also accurate to Cervantes' text, a pillar with an inscription between the ape and the crocodile. Good caricature/drawing style and good coloring. |
