Commentary | Don Quixote, knelt, knighted by the innkeeper, holding a sword and a book; witnessing the scene, two party girls (doña Tolosa and doña Molinera), a boy holding a candle and some guests of the inn.
Well-known scene. On the left, a pair of muleteers carry away one of his companions, defeated by don Quixote; a second muleteer remains lying on the ground. Good drawing/caricature style, coloring and setting. |
