Commentary | In the center, don Quixote, mounted on Rocinante and wearing the barber basin, and Sancho Panza, embracing the head of his donkey.
At each side, on pedestals, "AMADIS" and "ROELANT (sic); both as Roman soldiers. Above, a medallion with Dulcinea's portrait. Good drawing and engraving. |
