	Commentary	The Duke (center) establishes the rules of don Quixote and Tosilo's fight; accurate to Cervantes' text: "Ordenó que se quitasen los hierros a las lanzas, diciendo a Don Quixote que no permitía la cristiandad [...] que aquella batalla fuese con tanto riesco y peligro de sus vidas" (56:2). Theatrical composition; the three main characters in the foreground with a curtain in the background. Highly detailed rawing and engraving (see gestures and faces). The illustration, as a whole, is not too much worked. Detail: a little painting with the "Annunciation".
