Commentary | Don Quixote's advises to Sancho before leaving for Barataria Island; accurate to Cervantes' text: "Primeramente, oh hijo, has de temar a Dios, porque en el temerle está la sabiduría, y siendo sabio no podrás errar en nada" (42:2).
Don Quixote, as a master, in an upper position; Sancho, as his disciple, in a lower one. Liking for settings without too many elements (table, ink pot, quill, chair and curtain) and for scenes with dialogues. Don Quixote's 18th century clothes are remarkable. Different grades of engraving. |
Notes | It includes reference "P. 7". |
