| Commentary | Original choice; it is not the traditionally represented scene of don Quixote attacking the puppets, but the moment when maese Pedro meets don Quixote and kneels before him; Sancho observes them surprised. Accurate to Cervantes' test: "... con grandísima priesa se fue maese Pedro a las piernas, dijo: estas piernas abrazo, bien asi como si abrazara las dos columnas de Hércules" (25:2).
