Commentary | Original choice; it has not been represented the previous fight, but its consecuence.
Composition following a diagonal line, from bottom left (don Quixote and Rocinante fallen) to upper right (Sancho trying to stand up and his donkey already up); "[Sancho] se levantó, quedándose agobiado a la mitad del camino, como arco turquesco, sin poder acabar de enderezarse [...]. Levantó luego a Rocinante" (10:1). Small headpiece very well resolved. Highly detailed and excellent burin engraving; details by etching. |
