Commentary Sancho explains to Sansón Carrasco how Ginés de Pasamonte stole his donkey; while he and don Quixote were sleeping on their mounts in Sierra Morena, Ginés de Pasamonte stole the donkey, leaving Sancho on the packsaddle and four stakes.
Good engraving, but hard.
Notes 1 - Copied and turned after Tony Johannot's illustration for Paris: Dubochet, 1836-37.
