Commentary | In the foreground, with their backs turned to the viewer, the Duke, the Duchess, don Quixote and Sancho; they observe the entry of Merlin´s cart with Dulcinea (in the background).
Merlin should appear as Death, not as a magician. Drawing and engraving are vey acceptable; detailed figures and setting; some light disproportions (notice Dulcinea). |
