Commentary | Don Quixote hits Sancho with his lance because the squire prefers Micomicona's beauty to Dulcinea's; Sancho is fallen on the ground; Micomicona (Dorotea), the priest, Cardenio and the barber try to prevent don Quixote from punishing Sancho again.
It shouldn't be set with an architecture (inn?) in the background. Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable. |
