Pensando Don Quixote que una imagen de nuestra Señora, que iba cubierta de luto en la procesion de los clerigos y disciplinantes, era alguna principal señora que llevaban por fuerza, arremete con la espada á uno de los que llevaban las andas ó peana; y este con un pedazo de la horquilla apalea á Don Quixote, á quien no pudieron detener el Canonigo, el Cura, ni el Barbero que le seguian, ni Sancho Panza, que con esclamaciones y estremos doloridos detesta de su impia temeridad.
