Don Quixote encantado ó engañado, conducido á su aldea en una xaula de madera sobre un carro tirado de bueyes y guiado por el boyero, dos quadrilleros á sus lados, Sancho Panza, caballero en su asno, con espada en cinta, y llevando de la rienda á Rocinante, y el Cura y el Barbero sobre sus mulas, cubiertos los rostros con antifaces para no ser conocidos por Don Quixote. Very accurate to Cervantes' text. Drawing and engraving are good (the group of don Quixote in the oxcart and Sancho riding his donkey is remarkable). Navarro has designed an original cage to complete the vertical format of the illustration. |
