Commentary | Don Quixote and Sancho running away attacked by the braying mayors squadron.
Usual in Houghton's illustration, it is represented the effect (don Quixote and Sancho running away) but not the cause (those who are throwing the stones), causing a curiosity only satisfied by the text. Remarkable representation of movement. Drawing and engraving are esxcellent. |
