| Commentary | Don Quixote awaits ready to fight against a lion, but the animal remains into its cage, although it is open, yawning.
Well-known scene; now resolved with certain novelty; only with the two main figures (no carter, lionkeeper, don Diego or Sancho). Don Quixote has been represented in a quite curious manner. Drawing and engraving are excellent. |
