Commentary | Well-known and canonical image of don Quixote mounted on Rocinante and Sancho on his donkey; beginning of the third sally.
In their way to El Toboso, Sancho advises don Quixote to become saints better than knights. Original choice. Notice the representation of both animals rubbing their heads; picturesque details. Drawing and engraving are excellent. |
