Commentary | Second of five illustrations about the captive's tale.
The three captives thank Zoraida (not represented) the ten cianis that she has given them. Usual in Houghton's scenes, the illustration creates a curiosity (not representing Zoraida) only satisfied by the text. Drawing and engraving are excellent. |
