Commentary | Johannot offers us both versions of this episode; now, the reality; don Quixote attacking a flock of sheep.
The scene is well-resolved, with movement and drama. The figures of don Quixote and Rocinante are highlighted by drawing/engraving; they are more marked than the rest of the setting and figures (sheep and shepherds). |
