Commentary | Sansón Carrasco proposes don Quixote to be his squire, which causes Sancho´s sadness; well-represented action through gestures.
Cervantes says nothing about the presence of the housekeeper and the niece in this moment; they both have been included because of a later reference: "Las maldiciones que las dos, Ama y Sobrina echaran al Bachiller, no tuvieron cuento" (7:2). Drawing and engraving are acceptable despite some faults. |
