Commentary Composition with two groups of figures:
On the left, don Quixote (already without his armor) welcome by the priest and Sansón Carrasco.
On the right, Sancho with his donkey, carrying the robe and capirote from Altisidora's adventure, and some children; "venid, muchachos, y veréis al asno de Sancho Panza más galán que Mingo, y la bestia de Don Quijote, más flaca hoy que el primer día" (63:2).
Quite acceptable engraving.
Notes 1 - First copied for Madrid: Vega, 1804 after Antonio Rodríguez' illustration for Madrid: Imprenta Real, 1797.
2 - Wrongly-placed in chapter 52:2.
3 - Before this illustration, there was other plate in 1797 edition: "Ahuyenta Sancho á las Dueñas que le punzaban"; it has not been included in 1804 and 1840 editions.
