Commentary | In the foreground, don Quixote, with great dignity, fitting the barber basin on his head, while Sancho Panza laughs.
In the background, the barber running away leaving his mule fallen. On the left, Coypel inserted two women that do not belong to Cervantes' text. Well-detailed engraving (see rainbow in the background; it had rained at the beginning of this episode). |
