| Commentary | Don Quixote lies defeated by the Knight of the White Moon on Barcelona beach.
Scene often represented in previous editions (since Dordrecht: Savery, 1657), so it is less original. The representation of the Knight of the White Moon is quite remarkable. Notice some picturesque details as the traditional boats and fishermen in the background. |
