Commentary | At night in the inn courtyard, after being knighted by the innkeeper, don Quixote receives his sword from one of the party girls (doña Tolosa) and the spurs from the other (doña Molinera); also in the scene a boy holding a candle.
Well-known scene and composition, resolved with little novelty. Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable, but printing is deficient. |
