Commentary | Centrifugal composition (more movement) where don Quixote is the center and the other figures form a "V".
On the left, the innkeeper and others. On the right, Sancho, the broken theater and others. Maese Pedro appears from inside the theater and his servant running away. Theatrical and baroque composition; all the characters are placed looking at the viewer and before a big curtain (backdrop). Some figures and details look quite unfinished. |
