Commentary | Don Quixote descends into Montesinos' cave tied to a rope that Sancho and the cousin hold.
Notice Sancho's accurate gesture: "... echándole Sancho su bendición..." (22:2). Good drawing and engraving; don Quixote's figure has been resolved well, with naturalism. Good and detailed setting too. |
