Commentary | The scene has been resolved with certain originality compared to previous illustrations about this same episode.
In the background, the firecrackers inside Clavileño begin to explode, throwing Sancho to the ground; don Quixote still remains on it. In the foreground, the Duke and the Duchess; her figure is specially remarkable (notice her detailed dress, face...). Good illustration. |
