Commentary | Conventional composition.
Don Quixote knelt down, the innkeeper with a book and a sword, doña Molinera holding the spurs, doña Tolosa (without don Quixote's sword) and a boy with a candle (two more figures do not appear in Cervantes' text). Drawing and engraving are acceptable as a whole, but poor in details. |
