Commentary Don Quixote mounted on Rocinante at night (full moon); behind him, it appears a female figure (Dulcinea?) highlighted in yellow, like a vision.
Image of remarkable personal style influenced by some of the main European Art movements during the 1930s, as late Expressionism and Surrealism; the image loses realism to become more expressive, but also oniric, evocative and suggestive.
