	Commentary	The Basque ladies ask don Quixote to forgive their squire's life (defeated by don Quixote and lying on the ground) and don Quixote orders them to go to El Toboso to tell his victory to Dulcinea (superposed figure); Sancho observes the scene from the background. Excellent illustration, resolved with great originality and mastery.
