Commentary | Not too much original composition in comparison with London: Hodgkin, 1687. Now, more carefully-done drawing and engraving.
In the foreground, don Quixote attacks the flock of sheep. In the background, the shepherds prepare their slings to stone don Quixote and Sancho gesticulates to stop him. Notable disproportion between Rocinante and the sheeps. Drawing and engraving are acceptable. |
