Commentary | The illustration represents what Sancho tells to the priest and the barber about his previous encounter with don Quixote, who does not want to leave either his penance or Sierra Morena.
Figures resolved with notable realism; good contrast with the decorative wavy lines of the background (vegetal elements), quite in keeping with Art Nouveau style. |
