	Commentary	Don Quixote mounted on Rocinante and Sancho on his donkey; both perfectly characterized. Don Quixote as a knight errant, with the basin on his head and a lance-pennant (as Knight of the Lions; detail taken from the second part). Sancho with a whip and his sword. In the background, a wind-mill.
	Notes	1 - Reproduces illustrated title page from London: Blounte, 1620 edition. 2 - Copy of the title page first appearing in Paris: Jacques du Clou et Denis Moreau, 1618 (for the second part); also reproduced in Paris: Denis Moreau, 1622. 3 - The 1618 French title page did not include a pedestal with the title. Blounte first included this illustrated title page in his re-edition of the first part c. 1620 and also in some copies of the second part (1620; before the re-edition of the first part).
