Commentary | Despite the small size of the vignette, it is quite well resolved and the main figures are clearly recognizable; in the foreground, well-drawn and engraved, Sancho, don Quixote and a soldier; in the background, the group of galley-slaves with a pair of soldiers; some of the galley-slaves can be identified (Ginés de Pasamonte, the old man...). |
