Commentary In the foreground, don Quixote attacking the barber, who throws himself from his mule to avoid the attack; on the ground, the barber basin.
In the middle ground, Sancho gesticulating to stop his master.
In the background, the same barber running away.
Accurate to Cervantes' text, it had begun to rain.
Simple drawing and clumsy engraving.
