Notes | 1 - Photomechanical copy of the illustration appeared in Amberes: Verdussen, 1672-73 (same plate by unknown engraver first engraved for Brussels: Mommarte, 1662, which was a bad copy after Savery's illustration for Dordrecht: Savery, 1657).
2 - Placed in chapter 30:1 according to its own reference (Fol. 331), but this illustration should appear in chapter 45:1, where "DQ punishing SP" has been placed. |
