Commentary | The background is divided in two parts: down, Grisóstomo's corpse, his friend Ambrosio, Vivaldo reading Grisóstomo's song, don Quixote on Rocinante and other shepherds holding tapers; up, Marcela's appearance and speech.
In the foreground, a pair of shepherds digging Grisóstomo's grave. Drawing and engraving are quite acceptable. |
