Commentary | During his night round in Barataria Island, Governor Sancho discovers don Diego de la Llana's daughter disguised as a man. One soldier lights her with a lantern and one boy with a candle.
Light and shadow contrasts are not too much intense due to full moon light. Remarkable setting. Good and realistic drawing; well-engraved figures. |
Notes | 1 - This episode was not represented in London: Tonson, 1738.
